Business Analyst

The candidate will learn and apply the fundamentals of management consulting as they identify, study and solve business problems across a broad scope of industries. Working alongside experienced consultants, the Business Analyst’s role is to develop models, perform complex analyses, and work on assignments at both the office and at client sites.

Koios are based in a rural Hampshire location, just outside Andover with good rail and road links (Basingstoke 35 mins, Southampton & Swindon 45 mins, Reading 1 hour).

Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting consultants (technical or project leaders) by undertaking specific business and systems analysis tasks, including but not limited to:

*             Development of process and information models;

*             Undertaking qualitative and / or quantitative analysis;

*             Formulating recommendations;

*             Authoring reports and user manuals;

*             Performing information and data systems suitability assessments;

*             Authoring and providing presentations;

*             Timekeeping and Reporting

 

Person Specification

*             Honours Degree (first class or upper second class), or equivalent qualification

*             Minimum of 3-5 years experience of participating in successful business process re-engineering projects throughout a substantial period of change

*             Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes

*             Experience of writing requirement specifications for information systems

*             Experience of business process re- engineering techniques

*             Experience of planning, prioritising, and managing workload to deliver to tight deadlines

*             Ability to identify and apply ICT and business solutions to business problems

*             Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, translate high- level information into detail, abstract- up from low- level information and distinguish user requests  from the underlying true requirements

*             Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communication  with senior management and staff  at all levels

*             Knowledge of Process mapping

*             Knowledge of process and workflow analysis

*             Knowledge of data modelling

*             Full UK Driving licence

*             Ability to travel

*             Ability to hold a DV level security clearance
